Review: This site offers a great starting point for a study of Dickens. It provides overviews of Dickens' work, background information on his life and times, and brief descriptions of his characters. There are numerous links on the site should users want information on a specific book or topic.

This website is extensive, but very thorough. Particularly good is the alphabetical list of Dickens' characters. Wonderful for research.
